Disaster

Today I am taking care of a sick little one and feeling
thankful (after watching the horrors in Japan)
for the ability to keep him warm
take him to the doctor
and hold him tight.

So much loss, so much devastation over seas.
May you count your blessings today
as I will be counting mine.

If you feel inclined to donate to relief efforts in Japan

I had a friend who used to say that if you sat round a table with other people and everyone threw their problems in the middle, you would be happy to walk away with your own.

It's just crazy... disasters like this put life into perspective real quick! Take care of your little one.

Saddens me to hear of any child sick, but my heart breaks when I hear it is one of my special cyber friends child. I pray he gets well soon, and that he enjoys Mom's special care during this time.
As with any disaster, not related to my life area, does make me send up a Thank you God prayer for keeping me and mine safe. In that prayer I also include those who are faced with the destruction thrown in their path of life. I often wonder, did God need all those angels at that time to have recieved them all at once? Then I remember, God has no overwhelming moments, he's ready for anyone to enter into his kingdom. God Bless all.
