Color

We could learn a lot from crayons; some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, while others bright, some have weird names, but they all have learned to live together in the same box.  ~Robert Fulghum
Maybe we should develop a Crayola bomb as our next secret weapon.  A happiness weapon.  A beauty bomb.  And every time a crisis developed, we would launch one.  It would explode high in the air - explode softly - and send thousands, millions, of little parachutes into the air.  Floating down to earth - boxes of Crayolas.  And we wouldn't go cheap, either - not little boxes of eight.  Boxes of sixty-four, with the sharpener built right in.  With silver and gold and copper, magenta and peach and lime, amber and umber and all the rest.  And people would smile and get a little funny look on their faces and cover the world with imagination.  ~Robert Fulghum
Give crayons.  Adults are disturbingly impoverished of these magical dream sticks.  ~Dr SunWolf

Life is about using the whole box of crayons.  ~RuPaul

Yes yes, color is what we need. A note here, About 4 years ago, our oldest asked for caryons and coloring book, (Strawberry shortcake book) for her birthday. That'd what she got, along with money. She still pulls that book and crayons out and I have a picture she colored at that age of 23 hanging on my fridge. She colors with Kiley every chance she gets. Kids never grow too old to color.

as a child, there was nothing better than a new box of crayons. as an adult, i love new packages of pens and markers. must be an obsessive gene of some kind floating around in me :)
